Kristi Kaufman
Education:
Juris Doctorate/Certificate in Environmental and Natural Resource Law, Northwestern School of Law/Lewis and Clark College, Portland, OR BA, Pepperdine University, Malibu, California
Kristi has been a practicing attorney in Central Oregon since 1997, with a focus in real estate and land use issues. While she continues to practice law part-time, she is putting her outgoing personality and knowledge to use in the sales market. Because of her extensive involvement in all stages of real estate development and transactions, she has established relationships with investors, developers, builders, mortgage professionals and other Realtors. Her clients can expect her to recognize potential pitfalls in transactions, and to provide a creative approach to identifying and marketing property.
Although she grew up in Portland, Kristi
has always called Central Oregon "home," as her family has
had a home here since she was a small child. Prior to entering
the legal world, she taught skiing in Vail, sold art in Maui,
and traveled extensively. She and her husband, Matt, have
lived here since 1997. They enjoy skiing, boating, hiking
and exploring this spectacular region with their two children,
ages 11 and 6. Kristi was a founding Board member of Working
Wonders Children's Museum, has worked extensively as a juvenile
advocate in the legal system, and is a "volunteer extraordinaire"
for many of the area's non-profit organizations.
